Open space notices

We have a legal obligation to publicly share any plans for open space disposals (the sale or lease of land) in parks, woodland or green spaces. 

This is usually done by sharing notices in local newspapers for two consecutive weeks and making any plans available at our offices in Howden House.

As well as posting in newspapers, we also share notices and associated plans on this webpage.

There is opportunity for the public to comment on any proposal posted and we will consider all objections we receive. 

Objections to any intended disposal must be made in writing to the contact details on each notice within the required timeframe.

Please note that there is a typographical error in the notice for Remington Drive,  it is misspelled as Remmington Drive. We apologise for this oversight but consider the notice and plan to be clear as regards what land is proposed to be the subject of the open space disposal.
