Contact us using British Sign Language

From 14 May 2024, we will partner with online British Sign Language (BSL) interpreting service, SignLive.

If you are a BSL user, you can use SignLive to connect to us through an Interpreter.

You can log in to the SignLive app on iOS, Android or a web browser and find us in the Community Directory.

When you call, the Interpreter may confirm who you want to get in touch with.

How to access SignLive

The first time you use SignLive, you will need to complete a one-time registration.

This will keep your account secure and allow us to call you back if needed.

For any SignLive technical issues, contact hello@signlive.co.uk.

Our BSL access point

A BSL access point is available at:

Sheffield City Council
First Point
Howden House
Union Street
Sheffield
S1 2SH

You can use SignLive at the office site above, which will connect you to an online BSL Interpreter. They will talk to the person you would like to contact and sign their responses to you.

Please ask a member of staff if you’d like to use SignLive.
