The Manor Neighbourhood Development Framework (NDF) covers the neighbourhoods of Upper Manor, Lower Manor and Castlebeck. This area forms part of the South Sheffield Housing Market Renewal (HMR) Programme.
The Manor NDF was developed by EDAW consultants and approved and adopted as a material consideration by our Cabinet in October 2007. The report will help to guide physical changes and public investment in the area over the next 10 years. It links closely to the City Road NDF.
The vision for the area is for it to become ‘a sustainable neighbourhood of choice’. The NDF recommends a number of priority projects to deliver new housing and public realm improvements so that the area changes to become characterised as a safe, high quality and affordable area to live with housing choice, good facilities and a good location in the city.
