Mapping Sheffield Exhibition

This autumn, explore Sheffield’s rich history using the magic of maps. From October until Christmas, Central Library will host an exhibition of local maps dating from 1610 to the early 21st Century.

In this exhibition, across two floors, we have carefully selected maps and plans that reveal some lesser known stories from Sheffield's long history, and shine a light on the people and forces that have shaped our city.

Autumn Events

Alongside our Mapping Sheffield Exhibition, we’re hosting a wonderful mix of events and activities for adults to share, learn and discover more. From live screenings, poetry events and card making to mindfulness and book quizzes, your Library has so much to offer! Plus our regular activities for adults will run throughout the season including reading and writing groups, board games and coffee mornings. Call in at your local Library for your guide to this season’s events.
