Your experience of caring makes you an expert and you should be able to have a say in services, policies and decisions that affect you and the people that you care for. We call this 'having a carer voice.'
If you are an unpaid carer (of any age) and want to tell us about your experiences of health or social care services to improve them for other carers, then please come to our Sheffield Carer Voice group.
How Sheffield Carer Voice can support you
Sheffield Carer Voice will be focused on getting things done to make Sheffield a better place for carers. We want the group to be led by carers, for carers, so we know what matters to you.
The group will also involve people who work for Sheffield Carers Centre, Sheffield Young Carers, Sheffield Teaching Hospitals, Sheffield City Council, Sheffield Health and Social Care Trust. These people will be there to listen, support and create change to improve things for carers.
