Eat Well Sheffield campaign
Eat Well may mean different things to different people but for us this means, having enough food that is:
- affordable
- tasty
- safe
- improves our health
There is often a lot of hidden sugar, salt or saturated fats in processed food. Cooking from scratch is one of the simplest ways of controlling what you eat and how much you eat.
Eating unhealthily can create possible health effects such as:
- coronary heart disease
- some cancers
- poor mental health
- increased tooth decay
This puts a great strain on health services but most of all will prevent many of us from having the quality of life that we deserve.
