There are many reasons why your group might want to hold a community event in our parks, for example:
- for fun and friendship in your local community
- to increase the use of your green space
- to try and involve hard to reach members of the community
- to co-ordinate a work day to make a visual impact on the area
- to help your project gain some momentum
- to provide publicity to attract funders
Such activities are very important in developing community awareness, and what better backdrop than using one of our beautiful parks.
If you would like to organise a small community event please fill out one of our forms and send it back to us via email or post.
Request an event, filming or photo shoot in a Sheffield park
We welcome enquiries for new events in Sheffield’s park and green spaces. All events on our land must go through an application process and be approved to ensure that the event will be safely run and doesn’t clash with any other events or activities.
You can download our ‘Event Proposal Form’ and ‘Event Guidelines Conditions of Use’, or you can contact us for further information.
Filming & photo shoots
If you would like to film or take photos for commercial activity you must obtain permission to do so. Proposals that do not provide a minimum notice of 10 working days cannot be considered. Please complete and return the Film and Photo Shoot Proposal Form.
Students will also need to complete a Proposal Form.
Drones may not be flown from Council land without our permission.
