Bochum twin city

Bochum was the first twinning arrangement that we undertook.

After World War 2, our Education Committee responded to an initiative by the British Control Commission in Germany. It sought to promote peace, understanding and friendship through links and exchanges. The twinning arrangement was signed in 1950.
