Passenger Assistant

<p>We are recruiting Passenger Assistants to be part of a friendly team who provide an excellent standard of service to support children with special needs.</p>
<p><b>The role is</b></p>
<ul>
<li>To accompany, assist and care for children with special needs on their journeys from home to school and return on a range of designated vehicles.</li>
<li>To work closely with individuals, their parents and carers, show patience and understanding and be able to communicate with people from all backgrounds.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>In return you will</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Benefit from excellent terms and conditions of service.</li>
<li>Work a minimum of 10 hours per week for 38 weeks per year (term time only).</li>
<li>Salary is pro-rata to the full-time salary of £18,887 to £19,264</li>
<li>Actual pay for the contract hours and weeks is £4253.58 per annum paid at £354.46 per calendar month with any extra hours worked paid at £9.78 per hour.</li>
