There is a bus gate on Arundel Gate outside the Novotel. Please follow on site directional signs to reach us via the alternative route if travelling by car.

Accessibility
The Central Library was built in the 1930s and is now a Grade II listed building. As such, access for people with limited mobility is not as good as we would like. Improving access is an important part of long-term plans for the Library.
- there are disabled parking spaces for blue badge holders outside the Central Library building – this is restricted for 3 hours (with no subsequent return for 3 hours)
- we have lift access trough the door on Arundel Gate (on the opposite side of the road to Sheffield Hallam University)
- we welcome assistance dogs
- there is an accessible toilet and baby changing facilities on the ground floor (please ask staff for directions if needed)
