Education Sufficiency Plan

As a local authority, we have statutory duties to ensure sufficient childcare and school places.

Our Commissioning Plan sets out how we intend to achieve this. It is a three-year rolling plan that will be reviewed annually and covers early education and childcare, as well as primary, secondary and post 16 education.

Please note this plan has been developed for mainstream places, not special educational needs places. We plan to publish a separate Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Education Places Strategy by the end of 2023.
