Support to manage your council tenancy
The Targeted Prevention Service is a floating support service that works with Sheffield City Council tenants who are at risk of losing their tenancy.
This may be due to antisocial behaviour, issues with payment of your rent or other things that may affect your ability to manage your tenancy.
It is also available to tenants who require extra support in their home to improve their situation but are not yet at a point where their tenancy is at risk.
How Targeted Prevention can help
Our aim is to support you to:
- deal with issues that may be affecting your tenancy
- understand your responsibilities as a tenant
- settle in to a community and establish positive relationships with your neighbours
- take control of financial issues affecting the household
- access education, employment or training that you may need
- reduce alcohol and substance misuse within the home
- improve the health and wellbeing of the household
- access any specialist support you may required
