Sheffield is installing 22 more electric charging points. These include new locations and replacing old obsolete models at Carver Lane and Parker’s Lane.
The new chargers will be able to charge most electric cars to 80% in as little as 45 minutes.

Recharging point locations
The recharging points are located aross Sheffield and are shown in the map below. General use recharging points are at: Prince of Wales Road (1 charging point), Blyde Road (Northern General Hospital) (1 charging point), Carver Lane (3 charging points), Parker's Lane (1 charging point), Eldon Street (2 charging points), Clarence Lane (2 charging points).
Taxi only recharging points are at: Howard Lane (2 charging points), Pond Hill (1 charging point), Clarence Lane (2 charging points), Eldon Street (2 charging points), Prince of Wales Road (1 charging points), Parker's Lane (1 charging point), Blyde Road (1 charging point).
