We issue various licences, permits and registrations in the Sheffield area. If you are unfortunate enough to have cause for complaint about a Sheffield licence holder, please contact us.
All complaints that do not involve taxi’s eg other licence holder’s, a licensed business or licensable activities should be made in writing to the Licensing Service. If you are unable to write to us, please telephone us and one of our officers will help you.
What you will need to include in your complaint
When making your complaint, please try and provide as much information as possible including:
- your name
- your contact details
- the premises name and address
- as much information about the incident/issues as possible
- date and time of Incident
- provide any evidence if possible eg video/audio/photos etc
We will investigate and respond to your complaint and where appropriate we will liaise with other appropriate authorities to investigate.
Please note that your details will not be passed to the licensee/business without your prior consent.
