If you have not had a licence before, you will need to confirm that you are aware of your tax registration obligations, such as:
- PAYE information
- registering for self-assessment
- Corporation Tax
Renewing your licence
When you renew your licence with us, you will need to provide a 9-character code so that we can carry out a tax check.
If your application is in the names of a partnership, you must get confirmation from HMRC that each applicant has a tax check code.
If you do not provide this information, we will not be able to issue you with a private hire operator licence.
