Your hackney carriage must have in place the correct insurance to carry passengers for hire and reward.
This is a valid insurance certificate or cover note that tells us that you or a licensed driver, are insured to drive the vehicle and the purposes that it can be used for.
We will need to see a copy of the insurance certificate when you make your application. We will check every month to make sure your hackney carriage is insured.
