A handful of Sheffield’s most inspirational residents will have the opportunity to attend the final of the JenningsBet World Seniors Snooker Championship, as special guests, alongside the Lord Mayor.
World Seniors Snooker, Sheffield City Council and Sheffield Theatres are delighted to announce a new deal, which will see the World Seniors Snooker Championship remain at the Crucible Theatre until at least 2027.
Snooker fans in Sheffield will have the chance to see their heroes walking to the Crucible, through Tudor Square on a special green carpet on the eve of the Halo World Championship next week.
Tonight (Tuesday 18 February), the 27th MOBO Awards kicks off in Newcastle. As celebrations for this year’s event begin, Sheffield looks back on last year’s success of hosting the Awards.
