From Tuesday 20 August some bin collections in Sheffield will be affected by a Veolia refuse collectors strike. Residents are asked to put their bins out before 7am on their scheduled collection day and leave them out until they are collected.
From Monday 29 July to Friday 2 August, some bin collections in Sheffield will be affected by a Veolia refuse collectors strike. Veolia and the Council’s waste management team are working together to make sure there is as little disruption as possible.
A series of overnight diversions will be in place for the next three weeks on a section of Sheffield Parkway as essential work takes place to repair bridges at the Handsworth Road interchange.
