An initiative aiming to support Sheffield’s nighttime economy and keep residents and visitors safe when out in the city centre, has been extended into the Spring.
Whether or not a city centre Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO) will be introduced by Sheffield City Council will soon be decided at the Council’s Communities, Parks, and Leisure Committee.
The newly named fleet of Streets Ahead gritters have been working hard over the last four days making sure the roads of Sheffield were kept clear of ice and snow following the recent wintery weather.
People in Sheffield are being asked to help choose names for the city’s fleet of gritters but with a local twist, as preparations for the upcoming winter season get underway.
