More than 100 councils joined housing associations, housing sector leaders and other partners today to continue work towards securing the future of England’s council housing.
A proactive review of the way council houses are allocated to those who need them is taking place – and now the people of Sheffield are being asked to give their views on how that should be done.
Proactive steps are being taken to ensure the Council remains able to set out a balanced budget in the long-term, including transforming services to run in a more sustainable and efficient way.
Sheffield welcomed Homes England to the city so development partners could come together and see progress on the latest projects and discuss future opportunities.
