Sheffield City Council has received a strong response from developers resulting in six high quality proposals for the future of the Cole Brothers building in Barkers Pool.
An exciting planning application has been submitted by the Council for the transformation of the Castle site public space, including an events space, new public art and opening up the River Sheaf.
Sheffield has once again won a national award for the City Centre Evening & Night-Time Economy that recognises it as a safe and enjoyable place to go for a night out. An award it has held and renewed on an annual basis since 2012.
The next steps for the regeneration of Fargate and surrounding areas were discussed and approved at the Transport, Regeneration and Climate Policy Committee yesterday.
